You think you know yourself? Think again – Free Personality Test!

Here’s a chance to find out about your own personality for free! Below are links to two personality tests that measure the 16 Personality Factors. I’ve tried the two – both are free-of-charge, and risk-free.

Personality tests enable managers to reflect on their own leadership style from a self-awareness perspective. Typically through an online assessment, these tests identify what you do well, as well as identifying blind spots. As a result, they’re practical tools for personal growth in the workplace, offering us a structured way to adapt your approach towards improving your relationships and performance over time.

Personality tests have been around for more than one hundred years – since 1921 in fact, with Rorschach’s Inkblot Test and Carl Jung’s book ‘Psychological Types’.

Personality tests can also help you to understand different attributes within your team. By identifying common traits within the team, managers can tailor their communication more easily. They can also highlight a diversity across both thinking and working styles, allowing managers to assign roles that may align more readily with a certain team member’s natural strengths. This identification allows managers to start motivating different individuals in different ways, resolving conflicts earlier and fostering greater collaboration. And team cohesion typically leads to increased job satisfaction and productivity.

Edmonds Facilitation uses two such personality tests (ie. an assessment tool and team debrief workshop) to help teams understand their collective strengths and behaviours:
